About the client
XOXO is an online cosmetics and skincare store in Chișinău: skincare, makeup, hair and body care, Korean and European brands. The store owner runs the catalog herself; orders come with delivery and cash on delivery.
The task
The store came to us as a finished build running on a test server. It had to move to our platform and go live on its own domain without losing a single product the client had already entered, and then keep growing at her requests.
The solution
Catalog that follows the menu
The category tree mirrors the site menu, and a menu item points to a category, page or product, so the link survives when an address changes.
OpenSearch search
Search by name and brand in Romanian, Russian and English, with suggestions as you type.
Lightweight images
Every product photo is stored in several sizes plus an AVIF version, so the catalog opens fast, iPhone included.
Its own admin panel
Products, variations, brands, banners and the category tiles on the home page are edited by the client herself, no developer needed.
Platform and protection
The store runs in isolated containers on Garm Host Panel, media sit in our storage, and traffic goes through our WAF.
