The delivery website of the Twister fast-food chain: menu, cart and checkout, with a catalog that now responds in a quarter of a second.
Abouttheclient
Twister is a fast-food chain with delivery: twists, burgers, sandwiches, salads, desserts and drinks. Orders come in through twister.md, in Romanian and Russian.
Thetask
We built the website. Over time the catalog slowed down and switching languages clashed with the cache. The job was to move the site to our platform and bring its speed back without changing the ordering flow customers knew.
Thesolution
Menu and ordering
Menu by category, a price on every item, a cart with the total, a delivery page and a blog. Items and prices are edited in the site's admin panel.
Moved to our platform
The site runs in Garm Host Panel containers behind our WAF, with scheduled updates.
Language-aware cache
Cache keys ignored the language and any edit wiped the whole cache. We rewrote both.
Fewer database queries
The catalog page no longer hits the database dozens of times for every block.

- 684 → 36 database queries per page
- 47 → 0.8% CPU throttling
