Thetask

Move a booking website from its old hosting to our platform without interrupting requests, and close the gaps the old hosting had left open.

Thesolution

Catalog and booking
Accommodation options, the banquet menu and booking requests live in the site database and are edited in its admin panel. Guests pick a place to stay and the number of adults, teens and children.
A move without downtime
The site moved into Garm Host Panel containers, and booking requests kept coming in during the switchover.
Web root apart from the code
The web server only sees the public folder: config with passwords, libraries and service files are physically out of reach, and a single entry point runs.
Behind our WAF
Traffic passes through our web application firewall, with a certificate and scheduled updates.
