Guest.md
A services website for foreigners in Moldova: residence permits, paperwork, Romanian citizenship, paid online by card.
Abouttheclient
Guest.md helps foreigners settle in Moldova: residence permits, paperwork, ongoing assistance, Romanian citizenship. Clients come from many countries, so English is the site's main language, with Russian and Romanian second.
Thetask
Describing a service wasn't enough. The site had to sell it: a person picks a service or a package and pays by card right away. Prices are in euros while the payment provider accepts lei, so the conversion had to be fair and easy to check.
Thesolution
Payments through Paynet
Online card payments run on a live Paynet connection. EUR is converted to MDL at the official National Bank of Moldova rate at the moment of the order.
22 services and 3 packages
Each service has its own page with price, timeline and FAQ. All of it is editable in the CMS.
SEO for diaspora audiences
Service texts were rewritten around search queries from the seven countries clients come from, in three languages, with FAQs and structured data.
English at the root
The English version has no URL prefix. Russian and Romanian get their own paths and hreflang tags.
Form protection
Requests go through Cloudflare Turnstile and rate limiting.
